i don’t care if hashocean is a ponzi. i would invest in any ponzi that stays in business for over a year. i have made 5 bitcoins in hashocean and that was even investing with fear. the top earner has earned over a half million dollars in less than a year. he must have known it would last a year. i have been in genesis longer than hashocean and have only earned about 2 dollars. so yes, i’ll take a ponzi any day over a legit site you can’t make any money at.
there are a couple other sites that send autopay like hashocean that i’m in. they might be ponzi’s also but if so who cares. they are not that old so maybe they will last over a year. they are bitsrapid, simuler to hashocean and skyhash, a more modern cloudhash site.

Hey thar, Kenny! (You look like a good ol’ boy if you don’t mind me sayin’ so.) Thanks for the tips on these latest of the Ponzi schemes! Another one I thought you might be interested in looking at is CRYPTONUS.COM. This site is only 114 days old as of today and has 100% positive reviews so far, plus a very decent ALEXA ranking of just over 70k. The thing I find very interesting about the site is that they don’t have a registration process (i.e., email address; password, etc.); and the ONLY THING they require that you do is to input your Bitcoin address, which I’ve never seen before. I invested 0.1 BTC in their longest-term plan, which is 28 days; and with that particular plan, you don’t get anything until the second week. So in the second week, they did actually send me the amount of 0.03 BTC into my wallet. I still have two more payments to go before the cycle is finished, which is said to include a 100% automatic refund of my principle investment of 0.1 BTC. With that being said, the claim is made that I am effectively on the so-called 150% profit plan for the 28-day term, but the explanation of how that works is not entirely clear. Because the final payment will include a refund of the principal in addition to the remaining interest, I think possibly what they actually mean to say is that I will be receiving 0.15 BTC in total, which in reality amounts to a profit of 50% and NOT 150%. But I could be wrong about that and will just have to wait and see here in less than two weeks from now. In the meantime, I’m not actually bitching about a 50% return in 28 days, since that is a very good return. It’s just that, like I say, the way they worded the information on the site is not exactly clear. The site also does not offer referral commissions, which by some accounts in the so-called HYIP industry is supposed to be a very good thing.
I dared to experiment with it and sent 0.2 BTC. My account shows accumulated payout after 9 days but nothing has been sent back to my wallet, email to their support bounced back after 1 day delay… Tried to connect with them on Skype , still nothing. How’s your current experience with them?

The data given in the link given stated that the website was last updated on 26/ 7/2016 which is the day it went down. So the statement saying its current status as being ACTIVE is not reliable since this update took place prior to the website shutdown.

If there was a Tweet like that made from the Hashocean Twitter account, then all you would need to do is a Google search for “HASHOCEAN TWITTER” and it automatically shows you the link to the Twitter account. That is what I did, and there is NO SUCH TWEET that was ever made. The last Tweet made by Hashocean on that account was on June 2. And there are only a total of 22 tweets that were ever made in the history of the page. So either this person Francesco Torre is completely full of shit about what he is saying, or he was looking at the wrong Twitter account.

If Hashocean gets online again (which I think may not happen for some time or may never happen, like forever), I will withdraw all my deposits. Looks like I have to be clever in this business. I have no time to sulk for my lost money ($250 by the way). Ponzi Scheme is ponzi scheme. As long as it is profitable for a short amount of time, then Im good.

I have a little theory: bitsrapid.com seems to be a competitor company. Maybe bitsrapid’s owner hacked into hashocean to make people join it?

the bad thing about genesis is it is still a risk and it only pays about 1 fourth as much as hashocean did. so you will have to invest 4 times as much money to earn the same and the risk is about half as much as hashocean. nothing is risk free. i bought 22 dollars in genesis for the sha256 mining and they did not tell me that all i would be earning is 3 cents a day when they took my money. that was a big shock to me. before i invested i looked all over the site and no place had any kind of a pay scale in it, they should give you some kind of an idea of what your earnings will be per dollar investment before they take your money. the new scrypt mine pays more but still only about a fourth as much as hashocean was paying. so to make it worth messing with you will have to take a big risk. anyone that does invest had better stay clear of the sha256 because you will never earn your money back in that one.

Let me give my opinion in this matter. I also “lost” quite some money. Suppose it’s a scam, whether we file a petition/law suit today or tomorrow or in 2 days, the money is still lost.
But for the sack of “benefit of doubt” and suppose they’re really working hard to get everything up and work, why not give them some “air to breathe” (ie one more day) and let them do the work first?
you are wasting your time. there are only about a million scams every year. they are not going to go after hashocean. you may as well just eat it and move on. none of these sites are really legit. the sooner people learn this the sooner they can make money working with the ponzi sites. there is a lot of money to be made out there. don’t wait until a site has been open for a year and jump in or you are asking for it. get in fast get your seed money back and enjoy profits. i earned over 3000.00 from hashocean but i didn’t get in at the last minute. i love hashocean and i am going to miss them, pluss i will be missing the 58 dollars a day they were sending me every day that was clear profits.

I have already started to invest in http://bitsrapid.com as I don’t think HashOcean is coming back up.

The 29th is basically over and HashOcean still remains down. There goes our last hope… It’s time to start investing in https://bitsrapid.com as it yields the same profits as HashOcean had. I’ve sent them a support mail and they came back to me almost immediately which is probably a good sign. HO had no support feedback.
How long will this bitsrapid.com remain before going offline?
I have lost close to 3 btc for these scams and I’m jittery of investing in any
If bitsrapid.com has been on for 7 months, the lifespan left may be very short
I think everybody already know that HO is gone forever and nobody will get one penny back. I don’t think it make sense to hold on to the hope and I guess the only way is to move on

In my opinion bitsrapid is the same scam like HO. The site has the same design, the same prices and the same mining centers and if you know how expencive the price for energy is in Germany, then you know, that no company can mine there with profit. Only Italy is more expensive in the world. A real mining-company wouldn’t get the idea to mine in Germany. It should only make the appearance of seriousness to have a mining center in Germany.
